About The Position
We are a fast-growing, family-owned company seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our doorline team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for paying careful attention to the job, follow instructions precisely, work safely, and double-check his or her work before completing a task, all while maintaining speed and accuracy.
Requirements
- STRONG MECHANICAL APTITUDE AND FABRICATION MINDSET.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Proficient in using basic hand tools, including saws.
- Proficient in using a tape measure and performing basic math calculations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to maintain focus and safety awareness in a busy, physically demanding environment.
- Excellent attendance and dependability.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Machine Operating: 1 year (Required)
Responsibilities
- Setting up a machine
- Inspect product throughout the process
- Run wood and /or metal doors through the cutting machine
- Lift metal and wood doors
- Have the desire to "learn" the product
