About The Position
We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves operating the #11 Banbury mixer, ensuring proper ingredient usage, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The position is eligible for an annual performance increase and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- Capable of identifying different types of chemicals and rubber
- Able to utilize the “#11 Banbury Mixing Sheet” to confirm the proper ingredients per batch
- Can operate the #11 Banbury mixer in both auto and manual modes
- Understands how to adjust the oil, whiting, and cycle temperatures on the PLC screen
- Maintains a clean mixer, mixer door, and throat free of excess buildup
- Clears batch and oil counter at the end of each work order and/or at the end of the shift
- Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards
- Commitment to ISO9001 and Continuous Improvement
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities related to product, process and the system
- Identify and/or record any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system

- Experience with powered and unpowered hand trucks
