About The Position

Volt has immediate openings for 1st and 2nd shift Machine Operators for a semiconductor manufacturer located in Colorado Springs, Co. As a Machine Operator, you will check and inspect operation results against predetermined tolerances using SPC charts, operate traditional fab equipment and tools needed for wafer processing, follow proper material handling guidelines for delicate materials, and adhere to cleanroom protocols. You will also perform first-level maintenance troubleshooting, interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management daily, and troubleshoot tool errors with adjustments to ensure product quality. Additionally, you will perform first-level engineering troubleshooting and dispositioning of lots/wafers, take necessary actions to maintain production flow without compromising quality, and set up, operate, and troubleshoot assigned production equipment to achieve goals for quality, efficiency, and productivity. Understanding and identifying defects according to applicable workmanship standards and communicating on how to decrease or eliminate them is also a key part of the role.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months required, 3-5 years of machine operating experience or equivalent preferred
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to work compressed work shifts
• Standing for 12 hour shift
• Lift up to 50lbs
• Good mechanical aptitude and vision/finger dexterity
• Attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in manufacturing/cleanroom setting a plus

Responsibilities
