About The Position

We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves operating the #11 Banbury mixer, managing chemical and rubber materials, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. The position is eligible for an annual performance increase and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

Experience with powered and unpowered hand trucks
Ability to identify different types of chemicals and rubber
Familiarity with the “#11 Banbury Mixing Sheet”
Ability to operate the #11 Banbury mixer in auto and manual modes
Understanding of how to adjust oil, whiting, and cycle temperatures on the PLC screen
Commitment to ISO9001 and Continuous Improvement
Ability to initiate action to prevent nonconformities
Ability to identify and record problems relating to product, process, and quality system

Responsibilities

Use of powered and unpowered hand truck to position containers of chemicals and/or rubber
Identify different types of chemicals and rubber
Utilize the “#11 Banbury Mixing Sheet” to confirm the proper ingredients per batch
Operate the #11 Banbury mixer in both auto and manual modes
Adjust the oil, whiting, and cycle temperatures on the PLC screen
Maintain a clean mixer, mixer door, and throat free of excess buildup
Clear batch and oil counter at the end of each work order and/or at the end of the shift
Keep work area clean and free of safety hazards
Commitment to ISO9001 and Continuous Improvement
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process and the system
Identify and/or record any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system
