Machine Operator (Flexo) - 3rd Shift

About The Position

The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating flexo folder gluer and rotary die cutter machinery, as well as overseeing productivity, quality, and waste. The role includes leading the crew during training, completing quality checks and production records, performing routine preventative maintenance and housekeeping, and following established processes and safety rules.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience as a machine operator.
Strong knowledge of machinery troubleshooting.
Strong safety background and good attendance record.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to understand, execute, and provide verbal and written instructions.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong computer skills and ability to accurately complete required computer and paperwork tasks.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor machinery, including flexo folder gluers and rotary die cutters.
Oversee productivity, quality, and waste.
Lead the crew during the training process.
Mount printing and cutting dies to cylinders or shafts.
Mix and adjust ink viscosity.
Perform quality checks on each order.
Verify materials against customer requirements before running.
Work with the team to meet daily goals.
Accurately record production data in the computer daily.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and housekeeping.
Follow established processes, procedures, and safety rules and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
