About The Position

Strategic Workforce Development is hiring Machine Operators for a corrugated packaging manufacturer in the Kansas City area. The position has first- and second-shift openings and pays $20.00 per hour. Machine Operators set up, operate, and clean production equipment, monitor product quality, and make adjustments as needed. They keep production records, submit maintenance work orders, collaborate to meet production schedules safely, and help train team members while learning other line positions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience running high-speed manufacturing equipment in corrugated, printing, or a related industry.
• Reliable attendance.

• Corrugated plant experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and clean production equipment.
• Monitor product quality during production runs, including board quality, dimensions, warp, and defects, and adjust as needed.
• Maintain production records and submit maintenance work orders.
• Work as part of a team to meet production schedules safely.
• Help train other team members and learn other positions on the line.
