About The Position

Strategic Workforce Development is hiring Machine Operators for a corrugated packaging manufacturer in the Kansas City area. The role involves setting up, operating, and cleaning production equipment; monitoring product quality and making adjustments as needed; maintaining production records; and collaborating with teammates to meet production schedules safely. Operators may also help train team members and learn other positions on the production line. The pay is $20.00 per hour, with openings on 1st and 2nd shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience running high-speed manufacturing equipment in corrugated, printing, or a related industry.
• Reliable attendance.

Nice To Haves

• Corrugated plant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and clean production equipment.
• Monitor product quality during production runs, including board quality, dimensions, warp, and defects, and adjust as needed.
• Keep production records and submit maintenance work orders.
• Work as part of a team to meet production schedules safely.
• Help train other team members and learn other positions on the line.
