About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a variety of machines in a production environment and using assigned power equipment to process orders that meet customer requirements. The operator sets up and operates machines according to established procedures and customer order specifications, monitors equipment condition, and performs setup and preventive maintenance. The role may also assist with Warehouse Operator responsibilities as needed. The position works the first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pay is $20 per hour, with eligibility for incentives. The work involves standing, stooping, manual dexterity, occasional lifting of 25 pounds or less, and frequent lifting of 50–75 pounds. Assigned safety equipment must be worn at all times, and the role includes frequent exposure to mechanical moving parts.

Requirements

Basic measurement competency.
Basic math competency.
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a warehouse environment.
Strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

High school graduate or equivalent.
One year of work experience.
One year of equipment experience.
PC literacy.
Certification in assigned equipment, such as a forklift, Raymond side-loader, or overhead crane.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate assigned machines to produce products in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Safely adjust and use machines according to exact customer order requirements.
Notice and report equipment defects or excessive wear and tear.
Perform equipment setup and preventive maintenance.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Assist with Warehouse Operator responsibilities as needed.
