1st Shift Machine Operator

About The Position

Alleguard is seeking a Machine Operator to work directly under the Floor Supervisor and gain first-hand knowledge of EPS manufacturing processes. The position operates hot wire cutting lines and supports production through efficient workflow, palletizing, and tracking block numbers. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; flexibility is required because hours may change based on the production schedule. Pay is $20 USD per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to manage and set priorities in a changing environment.
High degree of self-motivation and flexibility.
Analytical and structured approach to work.
Knowledge of using a tape measure or ruler.
Ability to stand, bend, and stretch for extended periods during a normal work shift.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work during periods of intense physical exertion in conditions ranging from low to high temperatures and humidity.

Responsibilities

Operate hot wire cutting lines with an efficient, consistent workflow to maximize efficiency while following company policies and safety procedures.
Stretch-wrap bundles and palletize as needed.
Track block numbers.
Adapt to changes, including moving from one production line to another.
