Requirements
- Manufacturing, construction, or concrete experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow basic drawings
- Comfortable with physical work (standing, bending, lifting)
- Availability to work overtime, including weekends, as needed
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively on a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Responsibilities
- Read work orders and basic drawings to ensure accurate production
- Set up machines based on specifications (wire size, spacing, dimensions)
- Operate cage welding machines to build steel reinforcement cages for concrete pipe and box culverts
- Monitor equipment and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished cages for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE
