About The Position

This position operates machinery to maintain the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensures the correct ingredients and supplies are used on the line. The operator monitors and adjusts machine settings as needed and notifies a supervisor when machinery may require maintenance. The role requires maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. The successful candidate must be proficient in reading and writing, able to complete on-the-job paperwork, and communicate effectively across all management levels. This posting is for team members currently working at the facility or complex. Team members at another Tyson facility who are interested in transferring should express interest through their local HR Partner.

Requirements

Proficiency in reading and writing.
Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and communicate effectively across all management levels.
Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be in the current position for 90 days at the time of application.
Must have no suspensions or more than three written warnings within the past year.
Applicants with four or more attendance points at the time of application will be disqualified.
A team member who withdraws an application or declines a position once will be restricted from applying to additional positions for six months.
