About The Position

The Machine Operator provides manufacturing support by completing work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, and on time, while preventing damage. The role includes assisting coworkers and customers, inspecting materials and equipment, supporting inventory management and ERP updates, maintaining an orderly work area, and moving inventory between workstations and areas. The operator must comply with safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment. The position is at the Ballinger, Texas site and is listed as permanent, first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Base pay is $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required; a combination of education and experience may qualify.
Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.

Responsibilities

Provide customer-responsive and efficient manufacturing support.
Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, and on time, without damage.
Assist coworkers and customers.
Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment.
Assist with inventory management activities, including daily updates to the ERP system.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Assist with moving inventory within and among workstations and areas.
Comply with safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.
