The Machine Operator's primary function is to ensure the setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of machinery. This role is responsible for recording accurate daily production while maintaining production quotas, inspecting the quality of the product during daily production, and performing minor adjustments to the roll-forming machine as needed. The operator will also ensure proper markings are affixed to the product fabric, that the product is packaged in the appropriate carton with labels affixed, and that the finished packaged product is placed on skids. Additionally, the role involves ensuring presses and dies are lubricated when required, maintaining a clean work area, recording scrap, loading raw material, notifying the supervisor of any machine issues, reporting incidents or imperfections, and assisting with annual physical inventory. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
