About The Position
Hiring an entry-level Machine Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role involves operating production equipment, inspecting and packaging products, and maintaining quality standards in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should have reliable transportation, strong attendance, basic math skills, and be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
- Strong work ethic and attendance
- Ability to communicate, read, and write in English
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read a ruler
- Pass basic math aptitude test
- Lift up to 75 lbs
- Pass background check, drug screen, hearing test, vision test, color-blindness test, and physical exam
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Will train motivated entry-level candidates
Responsibilities
- Machine operation and production work
- Product inspection and packaging
- Set up machinery to job specifications
- Monitor production equipment and printed materials
- Rewind printed material rolls to customer specifications
- Prepare orders for final QC inspection
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety regulations
- Assist other departments as needed
