About The Position

The Machine Operator performs manufacturing and packaging work that converts raw materials and components into finished goods. The role operates a variety of machines and handles products throughout the packaging process, including checking product and weights against tickets, verifying customer specifications, processing orders through a Cryovac machine, packing, and palletizing. The operator must safely use machinery, troubleshoot basic issues, keep pace with line speed, and meet production volume and quality standards.

Requirements

• Safely operate machines for their intended purposes.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of machinery.
• Keep up with machinery line speed.
• Be able to lift at times.
• Meet yield, volume (pounds per hour), and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wide variety of machines.
• Manage products through the full packaging process.
• Match tickets with products and perform quality checks of items and weights.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Process orders through the Cryovac machine and ensure accuracy.
• Pack and palletize products.
