About The Position

Kaspar Outdoors is seeking a Machine Operator to operate and perform basic setups of CNC machines used in manufacturing high-quality components. This role is responsible for ensuring parts meet quality standards and that all work is performed safely and efficiently in alignment with production requirements. Requirements

Understanding of quality workmanship standards
Blueprint reading and basic math proficiency
Familiarity or willingness to learn Fanuc, Haas, and Mitsubishi controllers
Strong visual inspection skills and quality-at-the-source mindset
Clear interpersonal communication and teamwork
CNC machine operation and setup experience
2+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred
Willingness to learn and operate advanced equipment

Responsibilities

Operate multiple CNC machines to meet production goals
Retrieve and input data using computer commands and graphic displays
Calculate machining parameters including feed rate, speed, tool size, and spindle location
Store and manage layout data in computer memory for repeatable processes
Transfer layout and part programs to storage devices
Perform initial quality control checks on all produced parts
Use digitizing equipment to create patterns, as needed
Follow all safety protocols including wearing required PPE
All other duties as assigned by management
