Requirements

  • Experience in CNC/Extrusion Machine
  • 2-3 years’ experience operating machinery related to raw material mixing and blending
  • Ability to operate and trouble shoot
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Basic math and reading skills
  • Stable work history
  • Great spatial awareness
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with others as well as independently
  • Ability to pay close attention to details.
  • Ability to be adaptable, flexible, and dependable.
  • Ability to identify all raw material used in the blending process.

Nice To Haves

  • Good communication with extrusion, maintenance, warehouse team (forklift operators or Lead), and QC team/ lab is a MUST!

Responsibilities

  • Observe & Monitor production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Mix or Blend ingredients by starting machines and mixing for specified times.
  • Start, Stop mixing or blending machines when specified.
  • Examine raw materials, ingredients, or products visually to ensure established standards.
  • Load, Dump, or Pour specified amounts of materials, ingredients, or products into machinery and/or equipment.
  • Record operational and/or production data on specified company forms.
  • Collect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing.
  • Control operations of conveyor systems for processing defective products.
  • Observe, Maintain, and Monitor operational system software to established standards.
  • Controlling machines & processes, ensuring mixing and blending are to established standards.
  • Handling and moving objects, materials, and products.
  • Monitoring Processes, material levels, and surrounding departmental equipment and machinery.
  • Communicating with Supervisors, Leads, and co-workers.
  • Inspection of equipment, processes, material, and structures.
  • Maintain production, and processing equipment
  • Adjusting & Troubleshooting equipment controls to regulate flow of production materials, blends, and mixes.
  • Cleaning work areas, machine filters, and operations offices
  • Clearing equipment jams, resetting equipment faults, and system errors.
  • Fill material hoppers with correct material and ensure proper hopper levels.
  • Understand all different process flows throughout the blending plant.
  • Monitor the performance of the machines including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Adjust machines such as screw feeders, mixers, and transfer systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machine.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, including tracking and reporting production numbers and quality control issues that arise.
  • Inventory of batch operating area and material occasionally
