About The Position

ECHO Incorporated is seeking a Machine Operator to operate and monitor extrusion machinery used to produce trimmer line. The role involves changing and weighing spools, checking machine operations, and packaging finished products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This position works 3rd shift, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The wage is $16.25 per hour, plus a $2.00 shift differential. Eligible employees may receive a $300 sign-on bonus after 90 days if all qualifications are satisfied. Employees may also receive a $300 referral bonus when a referred employee successfully completes 90 days of employment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and handle materials and spools weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in extrusion or manufacturing is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Change out spools of trimmer line during production runs.
• Weigh completed spools to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
• Check and monitor machine operation, including readings and material flow.
• Identify and report irregularities or issues in machine performance.
• Package trimmer line spools according to company specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow.
• Provide support to other departments to meet organizational goals.
