Marmon Utility is hiring a Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining production, quality, and safety standards while minimizing downtime and waste. Requirements

  • No prior machine operation experience required - we provide paid on-the-job training for all new employees.
  • Candidates with experience as a Machine Operator, Extrusion Operator, Production Operator, Manufacturing Operator, or Equipment Operator are encouraged to apply (higher pay dependent on experience).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
  • Basic math skills required
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
  • Work safely around manufacturing equipment and moving machinery
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and workplace safety
  • Operate production equipment according to established procedures and work instructions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Ability to safely handle reels, spools, hand tools, and measuring equipment
