About The Position

We are seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Machine Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating machinery to produce finished goods, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the production process. The operator will perform various manufacturing tasks, including equipment adjustments, tooling setup, and quality checks. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace. Requirements

Standing for long periods of time.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Bending, lifting, twisting on a continuous basis.
Ability to lift 70 lbs.
Ability to clearly communicate with material handlers, other employees and managers as needed.
Attention to detail and high level of numerical accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
Ability to clearly differentiate colors.
Manufacturing experience

Nice To Haves

Experience assisting on multi color flexographic press is preferred.
Basic Computer skills preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for Machine Operation to produce finished goods
Operate in their responsibility to maintain efficiency and quality.
Perform a variety of manufacturing tasks using production equipment to ensure steady workflow.
Perform equipment adjustments
Mounting of cutting dies, print plates, and any other tooling required for each job.
Perform quality checks prior to each job assigned and during the production run.
Maintain documented checklist for quality checks, ink monitoring, and clean up.
Keep machine setup and run times at maximum efficiency.
Help troubleshoot any quality or machine issues as they occur.
Ensure that the equipment is properly maintained, notifying Maintenance and Supervisors of any issues that occur.
Perform daily and detailed weekly cleanup in accordance with the cleanup checklist.
Identify, and report any damaged tooling that needs repair.
Identify product safety concerns and report them to your supervisor.
Maintain proper production reporting.
Other duties as determined by Plant Superintendent, Shift Supervisor or Shift Lead.
