About The Position
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining die-cutting and laminating equipment to produce products that meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and job specifications
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience operating industrial machinery
Responsibilities
- Verify job order documentation and materials prior to production
- Interpret engineering drawings, job orders, and production instructions
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products
- Change rolls and anvils per job specifications
- Conduct quality checks using visual and manual inspection methods
- Operate hand and power tools as required
- Assist in training new employees as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
