About The Position

The Die Cutting Supervisor at JOHNS BYRNE CO is responsible for overseeing the die cutting operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves managing a team of operators, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring that production schedules are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of experience in die cutting operations or a related manufacturing environment.
Proven track record of supervisory or leadership experience within a production or manufacturing setting.
Experience with various die cutting machinery and techniques, including but not limited to rotary, flatbed, and laser die cutting.
Strong understanding of die cutting processes and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving production goals.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and other departments.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
Proficiency in using computer systems and software relevant to production management and quality assurance.

Advanced technical training or an associate degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead the die cutting team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
Plan and coordinate die cutting operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
