About The Position

The Die Cutting Operator is responsible for performing setup and make-ready on the machine, accurately placing dies into position, and adjusting the machine's pressure, feeding, and delivery sections. This role also involves performing maintenance on equipment, ensuring proper product registration, loading product into the feed section of the press, and keeping management informed of safety, quality, and productivity issues. The operator must follow instructions from the job ticket, complete proper paperwork, and train others. Effective communication within a team environment across all shifts is essential, along with performing other duties as directed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of high school education or equivalent
  • 3 years of related die cutting, foil stamping and embossing experience
  • Required to read and write
  • Required to follow verbal instructions
  • Required to use simple math
  • Must have ability to handle multiple tasks both mentally and physically
  • Must possess a high degree of physical coordination
  • Must possess a high mechanical aptitude
  • Must have ability to achieve acceptable levels for safety, quality, and productivity
  • Must be able to work well with others as well as independently
