About The Position

Vishay UltraSource is seeking a Sputter Operator for its Hollis, New Hampshire facility. The operator sets up, cleans, operates, and troubleshoots machinery and equipment to process substrates, working safely and within process windows to produce quality product. The role includes inspecting substrates and finished parts, identifying out-of-specification product, documenting production activity, and maintaining an orderly work area. The position is on the second shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret dimensional drawings.
Computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
Critical-thinking ability and the ability to use known inputs and outputs to achieve desired results.
Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable ITAR/EAR requirements; the posting specifically identifies U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001 and industry specifications such as MIL Standard and/or IPC.
Some college coursework.
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Set up, clean, operate, and troubleshoot the machine.
Operate machines and equipment safely.
Read and comprehend instructions and drawings.
Inspect substrates for proper quantity and quality before processing.
Perform visual microscope inspections.
Identify out-of-specification product and place it on hold.
Load and unload substrates in the machine.
Adjust machinery within process windows to make quality product.
Maintain focus on product quality to support company yield and on-time-delivery goals.
Perform 100% visual inspection of parts before moving them to the next operation.
Document production activities in the ERP system and quality databases.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
