About The Position

The Machine Operator is responsible for maintaining all filling machines in the facility. This is a third-shift position in Johnson City, Tennessee, working Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The work takes place in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility. In the production area, employees wear lab coats, hairnets, and beard guards.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Mechanically inclined, with good troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Frequent walking, standing, climbing, heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching.

Nice To Haves

• Vocational training as a machine operator.
• Two to three years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, clean, repair, and maintain equipment to meet production schedules.
• Monitor machines during each procedure to ensure they run optimally.
• Troubleshoot problems during machine operation.
• Carry out regular and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Perform random tests to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor periodic output checks to ensure machines produce quality products.
• Maintain activity logs.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
