About The Position

The Machine Operator will perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on a project. They must be able to perform assigned job duties on time and according to design specifications and work instructions.

Requirements

Must be able to understand written and oral instruction and have the ability to communicate effectively with others.
Solid understanding of production machinery and proper assembly procedures.
Excellent knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
0-1 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Set up machines according to specifications, including adjusting settings and loading materials.
Operate assigned machinery safely and efficiently to produce high-quality products.
Monitor machine operations to ensure smooth functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions.
Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
Take corrective action as needed to address any deviations from quality requirements.
Document quality control data and report any non-conformities to supervisors.
Monitor production output and efficiency, making adjustments to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs or adjustments as necessary.
Coordinate with maintenance staff for complex repairs or maintenance tasks.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors immediately.
Keep accurate production records, including machine settings, production counts, and quality control data.
Communicate production issues or concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.
Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
