Learn about our company culture directly from our team . YOU As Machine Operator, you will have the ability to perform required tasks to keep equipment running. Perform minor set ups and troubleshoot equipment issues. This position reports directly to the Department Manager and is supported by the department’s Team Lead(s). This position works Monday through Thursday 3:00pm – 1:30am with overtime as needed. This shift is eligible for a $1.00 shift differential. The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

Requirements

  • If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes.
  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Mechanical ability & safety. Able to consistently prioritize safety by demonstration of safe work practices and promoting a safe work environment
  • Accountability & Dependability. Able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience reading blueprints
  • Forklift experience
  • Ability to work independently or with a team

Responsibilities

  • Using blueprints to do visual product inspections to verify conformance to print specifications and tracking conformance using the Screw MFG Inspection sheet and SPC program. (40%)
  • Changing tools and adjusting machine back to proper specification. (30%)
  • Performing housekeeping/daily machine maintenance and troubleshooting manufacturing issues. (20%)
  • Driving a forklift to retrieve raw material or deliver finished products to outbound staging area. (10%)
