About The Position

The Machine Operator sets up and operates a single-side straight-line glass-edging machine to polish glass or mirror edges. The role involves inspecting products, following production work instructions, and communicating issues and production paperwork. The position is located at 4400 Cambridge Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155, and works day-shift hours from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The facility is not climate-controlled, so employees work in temperatures and humidity consistent with the region. Requirements

Experience as a CMS, CNC, hand fabrication, or polishing machine operator.
Experience in a production or manufacturing environment; glass-industry experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
Ability to push weights greater than 150 lbs. with a team.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility with heat, cold, and humidity consistent with the regional climate.
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and managers.

Inspect products for abnormalities and immediately notify a supervisor of issues.
Read labels and follow work instructions to expedite production.
Understand and communicate paperwork, labels, and picking lists.

Follow instructions from the Supervisor, Plant Manager, and/or Branch Manager.
