About The Position

The Production Worker assembles plastic intermediate bulk container (IBC) totes and steel cages using established production procedures. Under the direction of the shift supervisor, the role supports daily plant production needs, changeovers, and outbound shipments while following safety protocols and company quality standards. The position also assists with packaging products for internal and external use and supports changeovers with other production teammates.

The pay rate is $21.00 per hour. The base schedule is Monday to Friday, 2:50 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of plant safety guidelines and ability to pass all required safety training.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and report issues.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to be on one's feet for up to 8–12 hours per shift.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to perform job functions.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and climb.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble plastic IBC totes and steel cages according to established production procedures.
• Support daily plant production needs, changeovers, and outbound shipments.
• Assist with packaging products for internal and external use.
• Assist production teammates with changeovers.
• Perform assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements.
• Meet production standards for assigned work within the required time.
• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in the assigned space.
• Report production waste to the Production Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain safety and quality throughout production.
• Notify a Production Lead or Supervisor when stepping off the line so safety and quality standards are maintained.
• Perform other duties as required by the Supervisor or Manager.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
