About The Position

Swire Coca-Cola is hiring a Machine Operator to perform general duties involving the physical handling of product, materials, supplies, and equipment. The role operates on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM, working seven of every 14 days. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs, and employees may be directed to work holidays. The operator sets up, runs, and monitors production equipment; ensures materials are available; checks product quality; reports malfunctions, hazards, and defects; and maintains a clean, safe work area. The role also includes attending assigned meetings and assisting with special projects and events. A high school diploma or GED (or equivalent degree/certificate) is required. Forklift certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent degree or certificate.
Obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire.
Ability to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed during the production shift.
Set up machinery and ensure production materials are available and ready for use.
Visually inspect production runs, document results, and confirm product quality throughout production.
Determine and report malfunctions, safety hazards, and product defects to a supervisor or manager.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and the assigned area to meet safety and performance standards.
Attend assigned meetings and assist with special projects and events.
