About The Position

As a Machine Operator, you will be expected to maintain and monitor our machines to make sure they continue to function properly. You will gain hands-on experience producing high-quality products at Superior Dairy’s manufacturing plant in Canton, Ohio. You must have a rolling understanding of how an operating machine works and will be required to conduct periodical quality checks. Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-2yearspreviousexperience in operating machinery or robotic systems, or similar automated equipment is preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and move heavy materials, stand forlong periods, perform repetitive tasks, frequent bending, ascend ladders and scaffolding, and have goodbalance,.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment. Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Robotic Systems: Set up,operate, andmonitormachinery and systems that process, handle, andpackage ofdairy products.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that products are handled and packaged according to quality standards. Perform regular checks tomaintainconsistency and quality.
  • Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues.
  • Material Handling: Manage the supply and movement of products within the plant. Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
  • Record Keeping: Maintainaccuraterecords of production data, including quantities handled, machine performance, and any issuesencountered.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
