About The Position

The Machine Operator works onsite at Pratt & Whitney’s Clayville, New York location. The role demonstrates proper work methods and procedures using tools and equipment, runs written CNC programs or operates Kasto saws, and produces uncomplicated parts while working toward production-rate and quality expectations. The operator performs machine walk-arounds and supports the cell’s continuous-improvement, CORE, and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipment. This is an 8th Shift position, Monday through Thursday, 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, such as a G.E.D. in the United States.
Strong attendance record.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work hours outside of the regular shift.
Ability to wear a respirator.
Ability to ascend and descend stairs, stand for extended periods, bend, squat, twist, reach overhead, and lift up to 25 pounds.
U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program or contract.
