About The Position

The Machine Operator 1 demonstrates proper work methods and procedures using tools and equipment. The operator runs written CNC programs or operates Kasto saws with minor supervision, produces uncomplicated parts while working toward the desired production rate and quality, and performs machine walk-arounds. The role also supports the cell’s continuous improvement and CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipment. This is an onsite role at 2395 Main St, Clayville, New York. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (3x12), identified as 5th shift. The stated pay is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED.
Strong attendance record.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work hours outside the regular shift.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Ability to wear a respirator.
Ability to ascend and descend stairs, stand for extended periods, bend, squat, twist, reach overhead, and lift up to 25 pounds.
U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under the program or contract.
