About The Position
Red River Brick, a leading brand of the General Shale network in the Southwest U.S., is hiring a Machine Operator (Dehacker) for our Elgin, Texas facility. This role involves operating and monitoring the Dehacker, a highly automated machine with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Safety-focused, dependable, and team-oriented
- Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks
- Day shift availability required
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with automated equipment preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot strapping heads, including changing heads as needed
- Operate Dehacker control panels and perform product and size changeovers
- Operate unloading equipment, grippers, unloading tracks, and robotic teach pendants
- Handle routine troubleshooting and equipment faults
- Complete production records and documentation
- Monitor photo cells, proximity switches, pneumatic controls, and hydraulic controls
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Perform additional duties as assigned
