About The Position

Machine Operators use machines such as roll formers, polishing lathes, pneumatic presses, and vices to shape, shear, and manipulate metal into the desired output. In alignment with Jetseal’s core values, Machine Operators are foundational to reliably producing products to the highest quality and engineering standards. The work environment is well-lit and clean, with moderate noise. The position may involve direct contact with various metal materials and occasional exposure to acetone during part cleaning.

Candidates must have natural or corrected vision of 20/30 or better, be authorized to work in the United States, pass pre-employment drug screening, and meet pre-employment background-screening requirements, including those required under U.S. Export Control Regulations (ITAR).

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Natural or corrected vision of 20/30 or better.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must meet pre-employment background-screening requirements, including those required under U.S. Export Control Regulations (ITAR).

Nice To Haves

• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and operate assigned machines to process material until the desired outcome is achieved.
• Inspect material within specified tolerances.
• Use hand tools and calipers to measure product.
• Track and log job operations.
• Maintain and ensure controlled material custody and tracking.
