About The Position
Westaff is hiring Machine Operators & Assemblers for a manufacturer in Farmington, CT. This role involves setting up, adjusting, and operating metal stamping machines, performing metal parts assembly, and making minor repairs to machine tools and equipment. The position offers opportunities for advancement and is open to military and veterans.
Requirements
- High School, Trade School graduate or demonstrated equivalent skills
- Previous general machine operating experience - 2 to 3 years
- Ability to read-understand blue prints as needed for production manufacturing
- Longevity in prior positions
Responsibilities
- Set-up, adjust & operate metal stamping machines
- Perform metal parts assembly work at various stations within the facility
- Using hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products
- Make minor repairs & adjustments to machine tools & equipment as required to support production demands.
