About The Position

The Machine Operator safely handles and transports product within a warehouse. The role operates scanning equipment and warehouse machinery to locate, pick, bin, cycle, and return products to appropriate areas. Scheduled hours are 1:00–9:30 p.m., and full weekend availability is required. The position may also require night, weekend, and/or early morning hours based on warehouse business needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• One year of warehouse experience.
• Positive, upbeat attitude.
• Ability to work in high places.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull required weights.
• Ability to work night, weekend, and/or early morning hours based on warehouse business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but is not limited to, a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Machine operations experience preferred.
• Experience operating a picker, tow-tractor, pole lift, squeeze, or pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Operate scanning equipment to locate, pick, bin, and cycle product.
• Handle product safely and follow material-handling safety practices.
• Locate and return received goods and transferred product to appropriate areas.
• Prepare driver load exception reports and ensure products have been picked and binned for accountable processes.
• Track daily progress and immediately report discrepancies, errors, or potential roadblocks to a supervisor.
