Machine Operator (2nd Shift - Extrusion)
About The Position
Perform semiskilled work operating a variety of extrusion equipment. Duties include setting up machines based on production orders, maintaining production quality, obtaining samples for quality control, and labeling and packing finished products. The operator checks equipment controls and safety before use, monitors materials for defects, adjusts machine parameters as needed, and maintains a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and OSHA safety standards. The position requires wearing a respirator during machine setup, following routine oral and written instructions, and maintaining effective working relationships with coworkers. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to wear a respirator to perform machine setup.
