About The Position

The 2nd shift Service parts Machine Operator will be expected to pick and prepare products for shipping and storage. This role ensures that orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner. Operator will initiate operations in accordance with customer requirements and monitor performance to optimize production processes.

Requirements

  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and with assistance

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for locating and moving products for storage or shipment using a forklift, reach truck, or tow motor
  • Ensure all materials are properly tagged and placed in appropriate designated area
  • Responsible for performing inventory transactions and cycle counts using SAP
  • Confirming and returning parts to their appropriate location using handheld devices (PDAs)
  • Performing general housekeeping to ensure work area is kept clean and organized
  • Complying with all safety guidelines and protocols to create a safe working environment
  • Assisting and training new team members on the operation process and equipment usage
