About The Position
The Machine Operator keeps the Greenville facility running smoothly by making adjustments during production runs and using quality tools to ensure product standards are met. The role involves daily setup and operation of packaging equipment serving the condiment markets, in accordance with industry Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Able to walk and stand during most of a 10-hour shift.
- Quality-driven, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Able to lift 30 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Machine operating experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety and quality guidelines to protect customers, yourself, and fellow employees.
- Set up, start up, and operate assigned equipment using available hand tools and data collection tools for safe and efficient operation.
- Enter required quality and operational checks into the data collection software in a timely manner.
- Learn, meet, and sustain department key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide peer support for successful department operation.
- Participate in cross-training when available.
