POSITION SUMMARY: The Machine Operator is required to maintain and operate machinery in good working conditions. Your duties will include ensuring the interminable running of production٫ maintaining the level of efficiency and quality٫ and collaborating with co-workers to help your team achieve high level of productivity.
Responsibilities
- Set up machines to start a production cycle٫ performing calibration٫ cleaning and other activities.
- Control and adjust machine settings.
- Maintain daily paperwork (checklist, weights, downtime, specification, and quality records)
- Conduct tests to check the operation of machines٫ on a regular basis.
- Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the shift.
- Verify output to detect any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Inspection of product quality, presentation, and packaging.
- Ability to stand, sit or be in other physically demanding positions for long period of time.
- Excellent mechanical skills, including comfort with using tools to make simple repairs
