Machine Operator

Victaulic•Atlanta, GA

About The Position

The Machine Operator executes defined manufacturing processes to produce conforming parts while meeting safety, quality, and production expectations. Applicable roles include Profiling Operator, Grooving Operator, CNC Operator, and VBSP Former, each with levels 1–3. Performance evaluation, skill progression, and advancement are based on documented system data and direct leadership validation. Mendix data is used to confirm productivity, attainment, and system usage; supervisor, lead, and trainer feedback validates safe operation, quality output, skill application, and readiness for progression. No single data source determines outcomes; operational data and leadership assessment are reviewed together and applied consistently across roles and levels. Progression ranges from qualification in one machine operation role at Level 1, to qualification in two roles with at least Level 2 in both at Level 2, and qualification in three or more roles with at least Level 3 in three or more at Level 3. The Machine Operator–Lead additionally provides production-floor support, supports safety and FEM initiatives as an area representative, assists the Production Supervisor when needed, balances production when required, guides and trains operators, reinforces best practices, and tracks training and reinforcement efforts.
