About The Position

Gerson is a leading manufacturer of N95 respirators, air-purifying respirators, liquid filters, tack cloths, chemical cartridges, and melt-blown filters, with over 50 years of experience. The company anticipates significant growth in sales and production over the next year and is seeking hard-working individuals to join their team. This role involves operating various process equipment on the night shift, leading a team to set up and operate production lines. The company operates on a 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday) with two shifts: day and night. Night shift operators will work either 6pm to 6am or 4pm to 2am and receive an additional $3/hour shift differential.

Requirements

Mechanical ability
Prior experience running a production line.
Attention to detail
Ability to work well with others
Must be able to read, write and understand English.
Ability to work overtime as necessary

Responsibilities

Set up, and operate production lines in accordance with work instructions.
Perform quality inspections on finished goods.
Make equipment adjustments to ensure defect free output.
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Communicate with Supervisor, Maintenance, and Planning to ensure problems are raised and solved quickly.
Follow all established policies, rules and regulations including lock-out tag-out procedures and safe machine practices.
Package finished goods.
Fill out Quality paperwork.
