About The Position

We are actively hiring for the position of Machine Operator for our plant in Salt Lake City, UT. This role involves operating routing and cutting machinery, executing product finishing, managing fabric transfer devices and hot knife instruments, and handling vinyl materials. The Machine Operator will also be responsible for diagnosing equipment and production challenges and assessing the quality of printed images.

Requirements

• Experience in the production of signs or graphics is required.
• Candidates should possess both mechanical and artistic skills.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Strong organizational abilities are necessary.
• Experience as a machine operator is required.
• The ability to effectively multitask is important.
• A strong sense of color is crucial.
• Good reading comprehension skills are expected.
• Basic proficiency in English is required.

Nice To Haves

• Training from a technical college.
• A minimum of one year of experience in digital or large-format printing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize routing and cutting machinery, such as Zünd and Summa cutters
• Execute product finishing operations
• Manage fabric transfer devices and hot knife instruments
• Handle vinyl materials, encompassing cutting, weeding, and pre-masking
• Diagnose equipment and production challenges as they occur
• Assess and confirm the quality of printed images
