About The Position
To those who enjoy working with their hands, and are comfortable with learning different technology and tools, this role is for you. WST FAB offers a work/life balance with 1st and 2nd shift working 4 10's, and the weekend shift working 3 12's (36 hours) but will be paid for 40. This position offers pay based on experience plus a $2 hourly shift differential. WST FAB is invested in your success, offering opportunities for learning, growth, and development.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer knowledge
- Basic mathematics
- Quality check experience
- Use of measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for operating manual and CNC machinery with some assembly and hand work.
- Setups made by Machinists and instructions given on operation procedures.
- Work may be of fairly close tolerance in nature, but operation responsibility limited due to nature of tooling setups and machine arrangements.
- Under close supervision and subject to strict process inspection procedures.
- Process all necessary documentation and paperwork for processes completed.
- Load and unload parts into machines manually or by the means of mechanical lifting devices.
- Responsible for packing, stacking on skids and counting parts.
- Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.
- Comply with all quality, safety, and sanitation regulations.
