About The Position

We are seeking Machine Operators to join our GROWING team in Medina, Ohio. We need between 15-20 new operators within the next year! Start a new career at our state-of-the-art production plant where we manufacture safety components for the US automotive industry! This is a full-time opportunity!! Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Mechanical know-how
  • Basic math and reading skills, able to read and understand written instructions and compose notes as needed
  • Capable of using measurement tools
  • Must be flexible to rotate shifts and work overtime, including weekends as need to fulfill production requirements
  • Ability to meet all post offer testing requirements including the position's physical demands is needed
  • Manufacturing experience and/ or a mechanical or technical background
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with mass production machining in the automotive industry is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Interpret machine prints and product dimension specifications for production
  • Safety operate CNC machining equipment following established procedures
  • Load and unload parts, fixtures, and material.
  • Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments within approved limits.
  • Follow production schedules, work instructions, and process documentation.
  • Communicate equipment, tooling, or production issues to leadership
  • Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts
  • Perform inspections using measuring tools such as caliper, micrometers, and gauges to verify parts meet specifications.
  • Complete quality documentation and identify, report, and segregate nonconforming material
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe material-handling practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
  • Minor troubleshooting, adjustments and repair to equipment
  • Follow work instructions minimizing down time
  • Complete in-process quality checks using gauges, contour-graph and related quality equipment
  • Accurately enter data into our system
  • Complete internal non-conformance report (INR) for suspect product
  • Follow safe work procedures; report safety concerns
  • Support a team to work towards the department and the Division's goals
