About The Position

Entegris is seeking a Machine Operator for its Reno, Nevada facility. The position operates and monitors manufacturing equipment, follows standardized work and safety requirements, supports production quality, and handles raw materials and chemicals according to product specifications. The operator also helps maintain an efficient, clean, and safe production environment and contributes to continuous improvement.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience working in a clean room environment.
Knowledge of production procedures.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail, teamwork, and willingness to take on additional tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

Safely set up, operate, monitor, and make basic adjustments to manufacturing equipment according to work instructions, safety requirements, and production standards.
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues, change tooling and components, and communicate operational, maintenance, and quality concerns to appropriate personnel.
Conduct routine quality checks, sample finished products, complete required documentation, and follow quality and regulatory standards.
Monitor multiple processes to minimize downtime and material waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Mix, weigh, measure, and process raw materials and chemicals according to batch sheets and product specifications, using basic calculations and unit conversions.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and follow safety, environmental, and housekeeping requirements, including transporting and disposing of hazardous chemicals and wastes.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned in support of the organization.
