About The Position

Gerson is seeking machine operators to set up and operate production lines and process equipment. Operators work on a team to produce products including respirators, filters, chemical cartridges, tack cloths, and melt-blown filter. The position is available on a Monday-through-Thursday schedule, with night shift options of 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and/or 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Night shift employees receive an additional $3 per hour. The role requires continual standing, physical flexibility, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Mechanical ability.
Prior experience running a production line.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Ability to work overtime as necessary.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate production lines according to work instructions.
Perform quality inspections on finished goods.
Adjust equipment to ensure defect-free output.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Communicate with the Supervisor, Maintenance, and Planning teams to raise and resolve problems quickly.
Follow established policies, rules, and regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures and safe machine practices.
Package finished goods.
Complete quality paperwork.
