About The Position

OMW Corporation is a world leading supplier of custom manufactured mechanical parts and assemblies, serving exciting companies in the aerospace, commercial launch, electronics, semiconductors, and medical industries. We have been in business for 28 years and are experiencing rapid growth. We are located in Novato, California. This position operates on a Monday-Friday schedule from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. The Machine Operator is responsible for loading and running parts in CNC machines, including computer-controlled mills and lathes. Additional duties may include minor part assembly, deburring, part inspection, and other related manufacturing tasks.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50lbs comfortably.
• Good mechanical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Comfort with physical labor and hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate with written and verbal English language.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Able to supply evidence of U.S. Person status prior to starting work.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating CNC machines.
• Familiarity with inspecting and measuring mechanical parts with calipers and micrometers.
• Experience making simple changes to machine offsets.
• Ability to inspect and replace broken tools and re-offset them.

Responsibilities

• Load and run parts in CNC machines, including computer-controlled mills and lathes.
