The Machine Operator at our Baldwin, WI location is responsible for set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications. This is a 2nd shift onsite role, with hours Monday - Thursday 3:15 p.m. to 1:15 a.m.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED
Familiarity with manufacturing process and inventory control practices strongly desired
Ability to read blueprints and understand written and verbal instructions.
Knowledge of general safety practices
Knowledge of general metal material properties
Ability to work with close tolerances.
Strong mechanical ability and mathematical skills
Communicate effectively.
Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.
Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees.
Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.
Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.
Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.
ability to listen, be trainable, retain information, follow all safety guidelines and protocols, and be self-motivated

have some press brake or sheet metal forming experience

Responsibilities

Set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications.
Schedule and handle materials
Assure compliance with print specifications.
Utilize computer programming.
Maintain a clean, organized work area.
Complies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.
